Change orders may include, but are not limited to, added services, upgraded materials, design changes, repairs to hidden damage, layout changes, or work required due to unforeseen site conditions.

6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate project information, approving selections in a timely manner, making required payments on schedule, providing access to the property, and removing or securing personal items from the work area unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Customers are also responsible for notifying Blue Duck Renovations of any known property issues, including water damage, electrical issues, plumbing problems, structural concerns, mold, asbestos, lead paint, pest issues, or other conditions that may affect the work.

7. Materials and Product Selections
Material availability, pricing, colors, finishes, and lead times may vary. Blue Duck Renovations is not responsible for manufacturer delays, discontinued products, supplier shortages, shipping delays, or variations in natural materials such as wood, stone, tile, or other finish products.
Customer-supplied materials may be accepted at our discretion. Blue Duck Renovations is not responsible for defects, shortages, delays, warranty issues, or installation problems caused by customer-supplied materials.

8. Project Timelines
We make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the expected timeline. However, timelines may be affected by weather, material delays, supplier availability, permitting, inspections, customer changes, hidden conditions, subcontractor availability, illness, emergencies, or other circumstances outside our control.
Any timeline provided is an estimate unless specifically stated otherwise in writing.

9. Payments
Payment terms will be stated in the applicable estimate, invoice, contract, or project agreement. Customers agree to make payments according to the agreed schedule.
Late payments may result in project delays, suspension of work, additional fees, or collection action where allowed by law. Blue Duck Renovations reserves the right to pause or stop work if payments are not made as agreed.

10. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Consultations, estimates, or project start dates may be rescheduled based on availability. If a customer cancels a scheduled project after materials have been ordered, labor has been scheduled, or work has begun, the customer may be responsible for costs already incurred.
Deposits, special-order materials, custom materials, and completed work may be non-refundable, depending on the circumstances and the terms of the written agreement.

Some projects may require permits, inspections, or compliance with local building codes. Responsibility for permits and inspections will be determined in the written scope of work or project agreement.
Blue Duck Renovations will make reasonable efforts to perform work in accordance with applicable standards and agreed project documents. However, customers are responsible for disclosing any known code violations, unpermitted prior work, or property conditions that may affect the project.
